[Il s'agit ici de la traduction et de la critique d'un article du président
de Scientologie
International, Heber Jentzsch, donné au Los Angeles Times, 21 avril 2000]

de comprendre plus facilement l'enchaînement des mensonges et déformations scientologues ]
Il y a quelques temps, comparer la France actuelle à la Roumanie sous Ceaucescu aurait été
impensable de la part d'un groupe s'occupant des droits de l'homme... Pourtant, cette comparaison émane
d'une audition, par Christopher Smith (député US, Républicain, New Jersey), Président
de la CSCE (Commision US pour la sécurité et la coopération en Europe), après qu'un
officiel du gouvernement français ait refusé de rencontrer un membre de la délégation
US venu discuter du traîtement accordé aux minorités religieuses par la France.[pas de noms cités... ni de dates. Rappelons aussi que le gouvernement CDU du Chancellier
Kohl avait été, quant à lui, qualifié de nazi, ce qui a amené des protestations
internationales du peuple juif; les scientologues ne peuvent manifestement pas qualifier des français de
nazis, ils se ratrappent donc en utilisant... Ceaucescu.]
Cette comparaison - qui annonce que la France et la Roumanie mettent au ban de la société en raison
de leur religion - est correcte. Au début du mois, l'église de scientologie a participé à
l'organisation d'un forum public tenu à Paris, au cours duquel experts en droits de l'homme et en religion
ont entendu les poignants témoignages de citoyens français dont les vies ont été ruinées
pour leur seule appartenance religieuse. Une chanteuse célèbre [Naya,
"prétresse" Raélienne, et fort peu connue en France en dépit d'une tentative de
participation au Concours Eurovision] a raconté comment on l'avait traîtée
en "citoyenne de second rang, en criminelle" dès que son affiliation religieuse fut connue [Naya est raélienne, mouvement jamais reconnu comme religieux en Europe, dont l'essentiel
des croyances repose sur une rencontre supposée d'un journaliste, fondateur de la secte, avec des extra-terrestres
venus en OVNI]. Une mère chagrinée vint raconter comment sa fille lui avait été
ôtée en raison de son adhésion à un foi minoritaire. [?? de qui s'agirait-il?]
Un réprésentant d'un mouvement évangélique chrétien décrivit comment
200 officiers de police brandissant des haches et des armements automatiques, lancés en raison de fausses
accusations d'abus sexuels sur des enfants [il s'agit de la secte soi-disant évangélique
"La Famille", ex "Enfants de Dieu", dont le gourou et les principaux acteurs étaient
tous pédophiles et proxénètes, et dont rien ne prouve qu'ils ne le soient plus, ndt A vérifier??], firent irruption dans leurs maisons,
passèrent les menottes aux parents, et les firent dévaler l'escalier sous le regard de leurs enfants.
Ce n'est qu'après sept années de procédures que les tribunaux rendirent les enfants, en prononçant
un non-lieu.
La France est seule parmi les pays européens à avoir établi une équipe du gouvernement
pour renforcer l'intolérance face à des groupes religieux, groupe qu'elle a effrontément dénommé
Mission Interministérielle de Lutte contre les Sectes. Parmi les 38 mouvements [non
désignés par le scientologue, ça va de soi] ayant envoyé des représentants
aux auditions parisiennes [on notera l'usage de 'audition', comme s'il s'agissait
d'un tribunal ou organe officiel pouvant siéger validement, ndt] pratiquement tous ont
blâmé le groupe gouvernemental en raison de leurs souffrances. Alain Vivien, chef du groupe, a dit
en juin dernier à l'agence France-Presse "Aux Etats-Unis, les libertés sont folles. Au nom du
Premier Amendement de la Constitution américaine, qui interdit de légiférer en matière
religieuse, on peut dire et faire n'importe quoi". Selon Vivien, la religion doit être contrôlée,
si nécessaire par la législation [il s'agit d'une grossière
déformation de ce que dit M. Vivien: ce n'est pas la religion, mais les agissements de groupes, religieux
ou pas, que l'on veut contrôler, ndt]
Lui et des sénateurs français obéissant aux mêmes principes tentent d'obtenir
une loi à deux-temps, qui permettrait au gouvernement de fermer n'importe quelle organisation religieuse
si deux de ses membres étaient inculpés [faux: c'est de condamnations
fermes qu'il s'agit, et non d'inculpations, sur lesquelles la législation française vient d'être
renforcée dans le sens d'une plus grande mansuétude] de tout "crime"
[faux encore, cela inclut les délits importants passibles du tribunal correctionnel,ndt]
tels que définis dans le projet, et incluant les "blessures involontaires" [déformation:
la législation française englobe dans ces "blessures involontaires" les accidents causés
par un conducteur ivre, par exemple] . L'un des sénateurs (Dinah Dericke) favorable à
la loi, disait que l'intention était de priver les mouvements religieux de moyens pour rectifier le tir
au moyen des tribunaux, "au sein desquels les sectes sont si habiles à manoeuvrer".[les américains se souviendront peut-être que la scientologie a mené une guerre
durant des décennies à leur services des impôts, perdant toutes les batailles y compris en
Cour Suprème des Eats-Unis, pour finalement gagner la guerre dans un accord secret sans précédent...
établi sur des bases anti-constitutionnelles probables]
Sur la scène internationale , le gouvernement français paie certainement le prix de sa "Nouvelle
Inquisition", dans cet office qui se retourne sa Constitution sur la tête. La Fédération
Internationale d'Helsinki, basée à Vienne, a carrément critiqué le "schème
varié de persécution virtuelle" des religions en France. [le rapport en question est tout simplement l'oeuvre de Willy Fautré, fondateur d'un groupuscule
au nom évocateur,"Human Rights Without Frontiers", dont on ignore à peu près tout,
sauf qu'il fait partie du lobby pro-sectaire; voir le document de l'OSCE ici: http://www.ihf-hr.org/reports/osce99/99reldis05.htm et sa signature réelle: il s'agit donc d'un rapport fait
à l'OSCE, et non d'un rapport de l'OSCE. Il est bon de rappeler par comparaison
que l'assemblée européenne a adopté en 1999 la Résolution Nastase combattant les sectes,
voir ici; enfin, la fédération d'Helsinki
s'est inquiétée de ces mouvements, mais a adopté une position propice aux sectes, sans aller
toutefois au fond du problème: tout en jugeant que les positions françaises, belges, autrichiennes
et allemandes ne se justifieraient pas par rapport aux textes européens, elle ne fournit aucune solution
propre à combattre l'illégalité rampante -selon des règles en vigeur dans certains
des groupes- ; les états qui respecteraient le texte de la FIH auraient dès lors non seulement les
mains liées pour éduquer leur population, éducation qui fut de tout temps le premier souci
des états démocratiques, tandis que la censure éducative a toujours été le premier
outil des groupes totalitaires, mais de surcroît, il leur serait de fait
interdit de faire appel à des expertises en justice, lorsque des mouvements seraient impliqués dans
des actes criminels touchant leurs "croyances" Voir texte ici]
L'IHF a particulièrement condamné un rapport parlementaire qui faisait une liste noire de 170
mouvements religieux, [voir aussi le passage plus loin entre des XXX] incluant les Baptistes - la religion du président et du vice-président
des Etats-Unis. [double mensonge grossier: 1/ parmi la liste des 170 mouvements,
environ la moitié n'ont aucune prétention religieuse - Exemple:
la Faculté de Parapsychologie, et 2/ aucune église baptiste
reconnue par la confession Baptiste officielle n'est citée dans la liste... L'ITN, émanation de "Greater
Grace", n'est pas officiellement reconnu baptiste, et ni Clinton ni Gore ne sont membres de "Greater
Grace", ou de "The Bible Speaks" qui avait donné naissance à Greater Grace].
Des universitaires experts, organisés par l'église catholique, ont également dénoncé
le rapport comme non-scientifique et discriminatoire. [le rapport n'est pas scientifique
et ne prétend pas l'être; il entend bien être discriminatoire en fonction d'éleménts
évidents: la loi en vigueur en République Française et les textes internationaux des Droits
de l'homme, dont se gargarise la scientologie, mais sans jamais les appliquer elle-même. Plusieurs des groupes
cités dans le rapport ont d'ailleurs eu maille à partir avec la justice pour des escroqueries ou
des homicides, entre autres vétilles, et l'on se souviendra que la scientologie a défendu la thèse
comme quoi le gouvernement américain était la cause de la tragédie de Guyana, 930 morts. Les
Etats-Unis condamneraient-ils la justice française qui vient d'expédier en prison un prètre
catholique directeur d'école,
qui avait abusé sexuellement de plusieurs élèves? Pourtant, la scientologie a tout fait pour
empècher, à son QG côte Est, Flag (Clearwater, Floride) une mère de porter plainte contre
son second mari scientologue qui avait abusé de ses filles, affaire
Donald Strawn]
Par conséquent, ceux qui sont familiarisés avec la situation des droits de l'homme en France
comprennent exactement pourquoi la colère de Vivien est dirigée contre l'église de scientologie.
Ce n'est pas simplement parce que la scientologie croît vite [mensonge, il
y a environ 2 fois moins de scientologues qu'en 1980]. Les scientologues défendent activement
la liberté religieuse et exposent les violations des droits de l'homme commis au nom du gouvernement français.

officielle scientologue de quelques
500 noms de groupes religieux ou philosophiques ou psychologiques que les scientologues ont le droit et le devoir de poursuivre, blesser, voler, tromper, ruiner et détruire; le plus amusant étant
par exemple que la secte "tranquille" nommée Eckankar citée dans la liste ici décriée
par la scientologie, que le gouvernement n'a jamais ennuyée en France, fait partie de la liste scientologue
des mouvements à détruire: elle a d'ailleurs été fondée par un ex-scientologue;
et mieux, si possible - le groupe "église réformée
de scientologie - qui applique les mêmes doctrines que la scientologie,
est aussi dans la liste des mouvements à détruire par les scientologues, alors que le gouvernement
français ne s'est jamais intéressé aux quelques poignées de scientologues "free-lance"
de la "freezone" qui auditent tranquillement des gens dans leur région].xxx En effet, Derek Davis, du Dawson Institute pour l'étude des relations état-église
de l'université Baylor a récemment fait observer "Il n'existe pas de groupe du monde
d'aujourd'hui qui fasse davantage pour promouvoir la liberté religieuse que l'église de scientologie."
La bonne foi de la religion scientologue a été établie par une longue liste de jugements
et rapports officiels, et son futur en Europe est assuré. [pour la plupart
des déformations grossières des jugements portés: ainsi du jugement d'appel de Lyon qui contenait
une phrase de trop, dont la Cour de Cassation a constaté qu'elle était sans portée ni valeur,
le juge ayant outrepassé ses droits] Mais qu'en est-il de l'attitude actuelle de plus
en plus aggressive du gouvernement français envers les valeurs démocratiques et les droits de l'homme?
Nous croyons que le Ministère US (State Department) a l'approche convenable. Les diplomates US ont continué
à relater les abus des droits de l'homme dans leurs rapports annuels sur la question, tout en insistant
dans leur tentative de persuader les officiels français d'ouvrir un dialogue avec les croyances visées.
[on notera que la scientologie a été reçue, sans autre résultat,
par le prédécesseur de la MILS, l'observatoire interministériel des sectes, mais la scientologie
a la mémoire courte ndt; par ailleurs , une longue critique du peu de sérieux de ce rapport du Congrès
US éclairera la situation sous un tout autre jour, voir ici et ici]
Il est temps que la France, qui a donné la statue de la Liberté aux Etats-Unis, revienne à
l'idéal de liberté religieuse de son sol natal. [et il est bien temps aussi
que les Etats réalisent qu'il faut agir contre les groupes qui prèchent et commettent des exactions
contre les droits de l'homme et la loi]

For a major American human rights body to compare contemporary France with the totalitarian Romania of the late
dictator Nicolae Ceaucescu would have been unthinkable a few years ago. Yet such a comparison was made at a recent
hearing by the chairman of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, U.S. Rep. Christopher H. Smith
(R-N.J.)[was it by M. Smith himself, like one could think??], after
a French government official refused to meet with a member of a U.S. delegation to discuss American concerns about
France's treatment of scores of religious minorities. [No dates and names are quoted.
Remember here that the CDU Kohl chancellor's government of Germany was characterized as nazi-like by scientology, which got international protestations
from concerned grand Rabbis . Now, Scientology could'nt possible use "nazi" for France, so, it choose
to compare its government to Ceaucescu's ]
The comparison--that France and Romania both shut people out of society based on their religion--is apt. Earlier
this month, the Church of Scientology helped organize a public forum in Paris at which human rights and religion
experts heard moving testimonies from French citizens whose lives have been ruined solely because of their religious
convictions. A famous singer [Nayah, Raelien "priestess", not famous
at all in France, where she was only famous for some days because of her possible particpation to an european contest
of singers] told how she was treated as "a second-class citizen, a criminal" when her
minority religious affiliation became known [The Raelians have been created by
a french journalist pretending having had visits from space aliens from a planet at 40 billions km from earth].
A grief-stricken mother told how her daughter was taken from her because of her adherence to a minority faith.
A representative from a Christian evangelical movement described how 200 police officers brandishing axes and automatic
weapons, acting on false charges of child abuse [Here, the "evangelical"
cult is The Children of God, renamed "the Family"; it's a cult where the founder David Berg and his lieutenants
were recommending prostitution, pedophily etc. Nothing really proves that all this is terminated now, apart from
that one ruling Uncheked here??], burst
into members' homes, handcuffed parents and dragged them down staircases in front of their children. The children
were taken from the parents, and only after seven years did the courts finally rule that there was no substance
to the charges.
France is unique among European countries in establishing a government panel specifically to foster intolerance
of religious groups, unabashedly calling it the Interministerial
Mission to Combat Sects. Of the 38 religious movements [non désignés
par le scientologue, ça va de soi] that sent representatives to the Paris hearing [One will notice the use of "hearings", like if that meeting was in fact empowered as
a Court, or an official organism created to sit. ], nearly all blamed the government panel for
their sufferings. Alain Vivien, the head of the panel, last June told the French news agency Agence France Presse:
"In the United States, freedoms are crazy. In the name of the 1st Amendment of the American Constitution,
which forbids legislation on religious matters, one can say and do anything." In Vivien's view, religion must
be controlled, if necessary by legislation. [Here it is a gross twisting of what
the M. Vivien says: religion is not at stake, but the respect of laws and human rights is, religion or not.] He
and like-minded French senators are seeking a "two-strikes" law to empower the government to shut down
any religious organization if two of its members are convicted [Wrong again: the
Bill asked that real criminal sentences would
be pronounced before entering that new way of legislation; moreover, the french legislation has been very recently
changed to add more defenses to any indicted persons] de tout "crime" [wrong again, this includes offenses that can be sued under "district courts", such as
frauds, to compare with US laws] of any "crime" as defined in that bill--including
"unintentional injuries." [twisting: the french legislation includes
in such "unintentionnal injuries" the drunk drivers having hurted someone] One of its
proponents, Sen. Dinah Derycke, said the intent was to deprive the religious movements from seeking redress in
the courts, where "sects are so skillful in maneuvering." [see: even
the allpowerful IRS has been forced to deal secretly with scientology, while every single judgement , even in US
Supreme Court, was favorable to IRS, and not to scientology, and while the secret deal is yet disputed as unconstitutionnal
before US courts]
On the international stage, the French government is certainly paying the price of setting up a "new inquisition"
in a government office that turns the Constitution on its head. The International Helsinki Federation, based in
Vienna, has bluntly criticized the "manifold pattern of virtual persecution" of religions in France [said report is simply the work of M. Willy Fautré, founder of a groupuscule of bombastic
name "Human Rights Without Frontiers"; almost nothing is known about it, except the fact that it is a
pro-cultic lobby. See the OSCE document'signature here http://www.ihf-hr.org/reports/osce99/99reldis05.htm : it is no OSCE report, but a report done TO OSCE. Reminding here to compare that European Assembly did adopt in 1999 the Nastase Resolution, to
combat dangerous sects, see here. Finally, the Helsinki
Federation wrote a text about these movements, but adopted a position favouring "cults", without digging
much of the problem: while judging that the fench, belgian, austrian and german positions on cults were unjustified
if compared to some european texts, it does not give any solution to struggle the rampant illegality -coming from
rules imposed in certain groups- so, the States qho would respect the FIH text would have hands tied to eductae
their populations, education having always been the first tool of democracies, while censur has always been the
totalitarist way. Moreover, the FIH text would factually forbid the States Courts to ask for expertises, when such
groups would be indicted for crimes or offenses, as soon as such expertises would touch their "beliefs".

The IHF particularly condemned a parliamentary report that effectively blacklisted more than
170 religious movements, including the Baptists--the religion of the U.S. president and vice president [Double gross lie: 1°/ through the list of 170 movements, some half are not even asking any
religious recognition; example: The Parapsychology Faculty; and 2/ No baptist officially recognized church is quoted in the list... the "ITN", coming
from the "Greater Grace" US based system, itself an emanation of disbanded "The Bible Speaks"
is jot a recognized baptist church, and has never been recognized as a religion here: Neither Clinton nor Gore
are members of Greater Grace...].
Expert scholars, organized by the Catholic Church, also denounced the parliamentary report as unscientific
and discriminatory. [The report is not scientific
and does not pretend to be. It is discriminatory, certainly, from legal elements from french laws and international
Human Rights texts, which scientology uses so... unabashedly, as itself does not apply those rights, even toward
its own staffs. Some of the groups quoted here have been sentenced in french justice. And one could remind here
that scientology has pretended that US government was responsible of the Guyana's tragedy (930 deaths). Now, would
USA condemn french justice, as it has sent recently to jail a catholic priest having abused sexually many children? Though, Scientology has done the impossible to stop a mother
who wanted to complain in justice against her scientologist husband who had abused sexually her two little daughters
(Donald Strawn, 6th circuit, Pinellas County, CRC94-12575CFANO-1, 1994 )]
Thus, those familiar with the worsening human rights situation in France understand exactly why Vivien's ire is
directed at the Church of Scientology. It is not simply because of Scientology's rapid growth. [lie: they are more or less twice less people than in 1980]] Scientologists are
active in defending religious liberty and in exposing the human rights abuses committed in the name of the French
government. [One Hubbardian text should suffice to
make understand to which extent this is wrong; we have a scientology list of 500 names of "religious" , philosophical,
psychological groups, that scientologists have a right and a duty to: sue, hurt, lie to, ruin and destroy. The
most amazing here is that by instance, one of these (very quiet and calm) group, named Eckankar, is listed in the french list... and is also part
of the scientology list of movements to destroy! ( It has been created by an ex-scientologist...) Another name,
perhaps worse: the "reformed
church of scientology" is also in the scientology list of groups
to destroy, while such people as "freezone scientologists" are never worried by french government, and
are not even on its list of cults] Indeed, Derek Davis of the J.M. Dawson Institute of Church-State
Studies at Baylor University recently made this observation: "There is no group in the world today that is
doing more to celebrate and promote the principle of religious freedom than the Church of Scientology."
Scientology's religious bona fides have been established through scores of judicial and government rulings,[most being gross twistings from rulings, like the one quoted often by scientology about France
(Lyon appeal court, july 97 - but scientology
forgets almost every time to say that the judge's awkward phrase has been declared "void" by the Supreme
French Court some months later; and, when it admits the Supreme Court ruling existence, scientology says that the
Supreme Court gave them reason, while the appeal ruling had sentenced many scientologists to jail for homicide,
fraud and extortion, and THIS was not changed by the French Supreme Court] and its future in Europe is assured. [therefore, why
is scientology attacked now almost everywhere in Europe, inlcuding the quiet Switzerland?]
But what of the current French government's increasingly negative attitude toward democratic values and human
rights? We believe the U.S. State Department is taking the right approach. U.S. diplomats have continued to document
the abuses in their annual human rights reports while they are seeking to persuade French officials to open a dialogue
with the targeted faiths. [One will observe that scientology has already been received,
without other effects, by the MILS predecessor, the "Observatoire Interministériel des Sectes".
Now, about the US congressmen report about religious freedom or human rights, please see these few sane observations:ici et ici; you could see things very differently]
It is time for France, which gave the Statue of Liberty to the United States, to return the ideal and reality of
religious freedom to its native soil.

groups threatening democracy and human rights and legal bases, States won't be able to make them respectful of

Usualmente solo leo los mensajes de este grupo pero hoy llego la gota que derramo el vaso.
Ese papel histerico es una tonteria.
Por que Cienciologia.org es tan estupida? Sera que de veras esta secta desea a gritos que el gobierno Frances los
disuelva?
El parlamento examinara pronto una ley que permitira disolver esa condenada organizacion. Desean los Cienciologos
que dicha ley sea adoptada? Yo podria decir que si, despues de leer ese papel firmado por Heber Jentzsch.
Al comparar a Chirac y Jospin con Ceaucesc es realmente estupido y un error estrategico.
Todas las esferas politicas fracesas piensan desde el pasado añ6 que gran parte de la administracion Clinton,

En el congreso Ch. Smith y Tom Lantos parecen ser pagados por Cienciologia,
cuando ellos hablan acerca de Francia y Alemania.
Aquellos que estan en contra del parlamento frances que eran los menos partidarios de esa nueva ley, ahora estan
de acuerdo y desea votar a favor de ella!
Ayer me entreviste con un consejero del Gobiern frances y me dijo: "Bravo M. Jentzsch! es una gran ayuda"
Si desea entender que es lo que esta pasando en Francia ahora, debe leer mas abajo.
Un periodico popular -France Soir- publico e martes un anuncio pagado por Cienciologia y sus amigos. El director
de ese periodico qu esta en contra de la secta, como la gran mayoria de los franceses, dijo que fue un error.
El proposito de Cienciologia era demostrar que todo el mundo esta contra Francia en esa "batalla".
